The AIFM Directive was transposed into Luxembourg law on 12 July 2013, highlighting the proper occasion to modernise the current legal context of the Luxembourg investment vehicles, and in particular of the limited partnerships. In this framework, the modern Special Limited Partnership (SCSp) stands out; Luxembourg showed to be a step ahead.
